From the time I was little, I loved the natural environment. Exploring the diverse ecosystems of the Sonoran Desert was a part of everyday life growing up. I also enjoy learning about other cultures, playing the piano, and reading.

I love birds and have volunteered with a bunch of different animals, from bats to squirrels to birds, fish, and herps.
